"For years I tried to build a healthy lifestyle with a good fitness routine and eating in a smart and healthy manner but never was able to pull it off. I’ve always tried to be fit and gain muscle, ever since being suuuuper skinny in high school. I’ve had my ups and downs, but was never fully getting where I wanted to go. After my ACL surgery, I decided to join @healthyflexprescription so that I could get the results I wanted - and did I ever! Over almost 14 weeks I’ve lost fat while getting stronger thanks to the excellent coaching of @hejnasty and especially @tpcoaching_ . I feel confident moving forward not just in the gym but with my diet! They really taught me what I needed to succeed!

I was fed up. That simple. I didn’t feel good in my own skin. And while I had enough self-confidence to know on an intellectual level that my self-worth wasn’t wrapped up in physical appearance, I also had so many things going on personally, that I began to recognize that I was letting my physical health get in the way of my mental health. I had to make a change. I reached out to Kevin and the team because I didn’t like where I was in life. And more importantly, I realized, I needed help to make a change. I couldn’t get out of this on my own. No one can.
When I started one thing I immediately appreciated was the way we approached food. It was on my own terms. I could still eat things that are culturally relevant to me. I didn’t have to completely switch out foods that were important to me for the sake of a “diet.” It provided a new framework, to put the foods that I was already interacting with, and make adjustments that ultimately supported my goals.
I’ve always been active to a degree, teaching and taking indoor cycling classes, but have strayed away from the gym for lots of reasons, mainly because a lot of guys at the gym are terrible lol. Obviously not all, but it can be a hyper-masculine space, and not always welcoming (at least on the surface) to people who don’t fit into that easily. The Healthy Flex program allowed me to workouts from home, guiding me through them, and gain confidence with using my body and using weights. While I’m definitely not a full on gym bunny yet, it’s provided me a new outlook on how to approach my body and allowed me a physical vocabulary to go out into the world.
I couldn’t be happier with what my journey has been. And this is about more than results, I feel so much better. I feel so much more comfortable with myself. And it’s because it’s given me the knowledge I need to continue my journey, both with my approach to food and exercise.

This is something I’ve been saying since I started my journey in the The Healthy Flex Prescription program almost 5 months ago. 🫨 Before joining, I was struggling with staying consistent, “yo-yo dieting” 🪀, keeping a decent routine and schedule 🗓️ , High cholesterol levels 🛑, and overall hating the way I had let myself go since COVID-19 Times ❌. But, since I made the commitment and took the leap of faith to start HFP I’ve lost 30 Pounds overall 😮‍💨, 4 inches off my waist 📏, my cholesterol levels returned to normal ❤️, AND I’ve made some of the coolest pals in the game within the HFP community (Which is one of the biggest wins in my opinion). 👀

"I gained my confidence back, and now I feel unstoppable."

Before working with Kevin, I was a completely different person. Broken, lost.... extremely motivated, but without structure and accountability. Just a bit about myself, I am a competitive ultra-runner, having completed races such as the 2019 Keys 100 miler (a 100 mile footrace from Key Largo to Key West within a day) and the 2019 NJ One Day 24 Hour Race, where I ran 106 miles within 24 hours, around a 1 mile loop. I’ve run marathons on 4/7 of the continents, with a goal to complete them all within the next few years-with one of my most memorable being a desert in Jordan. Although accountability has never been an issue when it comes to putting the miles in, I was severely lacking the little things that are so easily overlooked. This includes, but is not limited to nutrition and strength, two extremely important assets that can make or break an athlete’s performance. For example, I would run 80-100 miles a week, but not pay attention to what I eat, or do any form of strength work. I knew I could improve significantly as an athlete in terms of running more efficiently, feeling more energetic, and overall stronger. I became sort of stagnant, until it came down to me deciding that to accomplish some even crazier goals ahead, I would have to model my entire lifestyle after that of an elite athlete. This meant being more disciplined in those areas I was neglecting, which Kevin and Brandon both helped me with-which, is an UNDERSTATEMENT. As a result of this program, I went from 141 to 122lbs, lost 4.5 inches off my waist, but more importantly, WAY more importantly than weight alone...I gained my confidence and fire back. I entered 2020 in the worst mental and physical state possible, not feeling like myself at all. I needed this program to jumpstart my life again-which, it most certainly did. In addition to crushing my fitness goals, I received a few sponsorships, I got through my first semester of accelerated nursing school, and am now taking on a giant fundraiser of mine, where I will be running 100+ miles on a treadmill, within 24 hours while raising money to purchase masks for healthcare workers, which I will distribute to local hospitals in desperate need. So far, I have already raised over $3,000 in 2 weeks, and have even inspired my friend to join in, as he bikes 100 miles on his own (and is close to fundraising $1,000 so far, which he plans on donating towards my cause). Additionally, I will now be spending the next year working on my biggest goal yet, which is to become the youngest woman (and 2nd American woman) to complete the Mt Everest Ultramarathon, the highest race on the planet, starting at 17,000 feet-Base Camp. And it all goes back to me making that one decision that changed my life. Starting this program. Trusting in Kevin and his team to push me to exactly where I needed to go (despite being one of the first ultra-runners they have ever worked with). And now, I feel unstoppable.

From 240 down to 150 pounds. I lost the initial 40 pounds on my own by completely starving myself (less than 1k calories per day) and endless cardio. This was not sustainable and I went back to my old eating habits. Enough was enough, I looked out for help and luckily found Kevin through Instagram. Not only did he help me lose 50 pounds, he has taught me the importance of nutrition and training. Never did I starve myself to death when I worked with Kevin because he has helped me build a better relationship towards food. I now see food differently in a good way and by that I’m able to fit in ice cream or chips without having to worry about gaining weight! "I LOST OVER 20 POUNDS while increasing muscle mass and strength while keeping a lean look I have always hoped for."

Leading up to March of 2019, I was unhappy and stressed. As a college athlete and studying to be a nurse while working in the hospital 2 days a week and working as a prep cook, I started to develop terrible eating habits, my workout schedule seemed unmanageable, and I felt stressed to the point where I did not know how to correctly take care of my body and hold myself accountable. I also had the mindset that looks were all genetics; I fell into the stigma of, “I will never be able to change my body because it’s just not in my family.” At this point, I was at the heaviest I had ever been and thought that I will never be able to change. I fell into a pit that I could not crawl out of. This is when I found Kevin and the Hejnasty team. Kevin approached me with a 12 week plan that would allow me to continue with what I was doing while being able to have a sustainable lifestyle that would improve my overall health. The kicker was that I wanted to lose weight while gaining strength and muscle, which I thought could NEVER happen. But Kevin surprised me as during the 12 weeks, I LOST OVER 20 POUNDS while increasing muscle mass and strength while keeping a lean look I have always hoped for. During the 12 weeks we battled between caloric deficits, intense workout plans, and weekly accountability meetings and goals and by the end of it, I was finally able to not only create and manage a healthy lifestyle but I was also able to continue doing what I love (sports, nursing and work). The amazing part was my internal changes as well; I lowered blood pressure significantly (after being told that I would have to go on medication because I will always have Hypertension), decreased my heart rate and cholesterol levels, and decreased inches on my waist! I even started getting ABS! But it did not stop there. I decided to continue onward after my 12 weeks and wanted to keep my look but grow stronger and eventually wanted to compete in my first powerlifting meet. This is when Kevin introduced me to Brandon LoPresti. For the next 8 months, I trained vigorously with the Hejnasty team and put in hours of work with them while being presented with research articles and weekly updates in order to learn and grow in the fitness industry and by the end of these last 8 months, I not only was able to maintain my healthy lifestyle, but I competed in my first meet with a 543 kg total, dropped another 5 pounds, and began to create fitness plans for myself in the future and began working with friends and family who wanted a lifestyle change like I did earlier in 2019. Not only did this program change my life mentally, physically, and emotionally, but it also created the opportunity to share my knowledge that I learned from the Hejnasty team with others around so that they could experience the same joy that I have felt for the past year! "The Healthy Flex Prescription program - one of the single best decisions I have ever made"

When I first contacted Kevin, I was at my breaking point with regard to my health and fitness. I was completely frustrated with how I looked and felt, both inside and out. I couldn’t fit into any of my clothes, buying bigger sizes to accommodate my growing tummy. It was taking me 30 minutes just to put on my shirt and pants. I was depressed with how I looked and felt. My friends would tell me I looked fine, but inside I felt it wasn’t true.
I wasn’t a fitness novice by any means and had been working out with a trainer on and off for a number of years. Per usual, I’d get into shape (or at least what I thought was in shape) and then take a break - sometimes for a week or much more. The most recent “break” lasted almost a year and a half. A lot can happen to your body when you aren’t exercising and watching what you eat over the course of a year.
Frustrated, I hired an in-person trainer at my local gym. Everything was going all right, but he was constantly late and not showing up. After about the fourth time, I had enough. I needed to work with someone who took a real interest in my health and fitness. I was pretty much doing all the work anyway, so I thought going on-line could be an option. Hence how I ended up with Kevin. I had followed Kevin on social media for a while. I watched his client testimonials and his Instagram posts. One thing I liked about him was all of his client transformations were with real people like you and me. He wasn’t taking already in-shape people and making them better. He was doing actual transformations.
I filled out the contact request on Kevin’s website. To my surprise, he contacted me within a couple hours. We set up an initial call and he asked me some basic questions (why did I contact him, what were my goals, etc.) We then set up a more in depth call to go further into my goals and what to expect. After that I still wasn’t quite sure because this was all going to be done virtually. Breaking it down, hiring Kevin is about the same cost as hiring an in-person trainer but you get so much more. I kinda made him sweat it out, but called him the next day and hired him for a 12-week Healthy Flex Prescription program - one of the single best decisions I have ever made. I signed up in mid-October and realized I was going to have to make it through Thanksgiving, Christmas & NYE. More obstacles, but I was up for the challenge.
Kevin got me set up on MyFitness Pal (to track all of my nutrition) & Trainerize (to track my weight, body fat, measurements, photos and workouts). He set up a complete workout plan for me based on my schedule. He set up my nutrition goals as well. I was seriously impressed with his thoroughness and attention to detail. We also set up a weekly face-to-face video chat to go over my progress. During these calls he would make changes to my flexible diet, go over what worked for the week and what didn’t, he would set new goals for me and look at my nutrition.) Aside from the weekly video chats, I can message him anytime with questions and he responds. He isn’t trying to get bodies in his program, he is looking to help you reach your goals. He seriously cares about you reaching them.
During the 12-week program, I went beyond what I thought my goal was. I dropped 16 pounds and went from 16% to 9% body fat, all while making muscle gainz. I look and feel amazing. Aside from the physical changes, there were mental changes as well. My confidence has gone through the roof. I enjoy being in the gym and working out. Kevin helped me to reach beyond my goals. Even when I doubted myself, he believed in me. He is not only a fantastic coach, but a pretty amazing person as well!

I’ve done a lot of talking in the past that I would lose weight this year for the past 6 years on New Years but never really made it happen. After having difficulty just doing every day things like walking up a flight of stairs and getting out of breath I realized I needed to actually make that change. I wanted to do something for me that I knew would be life changing and make me happier as a person. However, I didn’t know anything about fitness or where to start. I’ve done a whole bunch of research on different fitness instructors both in person and online coaching and I’m telling you this so that you don’t have to do all that research. Working with Kevin has helped me to better understand how to fuel my body for strength sports. Before learning how how to track macros, I would eat super clean and wasn't eating foods that I enjoyed. Kevin taught me how to balance what I eat. I eat a ton of meat, veggies, and fruit everyday but I also can easily fit in Chick Fil A, donuts, Portuguese egg tarts, and a decent amount peanut butter when I want to. Food is no longer my enemy. I can eat whatever I want, whenever I want (granted that it fits my macros). racking macros allowed me to have a better relationship with food and my body. I was able to drop from 84kg #SHWGirls to 72kg and have been easily maintaining this weight for the past year. Today, I get to eat the foods I like without being scared of them. "I did not feel like I was on a "diet", I was just keeping track of my calories like people keep track of a bank account."

I was a college 2 sport athlete that was gleefully eating 2500-3000 calories during season and did not pay attention to the amount of food I was consuming because I did not really have to. When I graduated college, I was very concerned about gaining weight since I was going from practice/games everyday to working in an office setting sitting at a desk for the majority of the day. To try to prevent gaining weight, I fell into the biggest misconception out there that you have to maintain an extremely low calorie intake to lose weight and stay thin. I was eating around 1100 calories give or take and lost the muscle mass I put on from lifting in college. I could not sustain that calorie intake so I put on a bunch of weight when I tried to return to my normal eating habits. This is when Hejnasty coaching stepped in :) The program helped me understand that i my body was operating at a certain metabolic rate which could adapt and that simply being aware of how much and what food I put into my body could make a huge difference. Kevin was more than willing to explain why he had me doing what I was doing and answer any questions I had. Having a coach also kept me accountable. I got check in emails or texts when I was starting to get off track but also got an awesome support system for when I had a slip up day. He has been through the ringer with cheat days and binge days and encouraged me that as long as I got back into the routine, no harm done and it's all good. I also got to eat whatever foods I wanted which was awesome! As long as it fit my macros, I could go to town on ice cream, donuts or pizza. I did not feel like I was on a "diet", I was just keeping track of my calories like people keep track of a bank account. I had amazing results while on the program and lost around 35lbs. More important than the weight loss, I gained knowledge and experience that I have carried into my life after being in the program. Plus the kid's a sweetheart :)!

With counting your macros you have the flexibility to eat pretty much whatever you want as long as it will for into your macros for the day! Kevin's program taught me so much about my body. The longer you count your macros you start to notice how different foods affect you, what will make you feel lean, what will make you feel bloated etc. I've lost over 40 pounds and continued to put on muscle. I completed in my first powerlifting competition back in February. Since starting Kevin's program my life has completely turned around! I'm happier than I've ever been! Thank you so much Kevin you really changed my life! The advice I would give any one is that if you want to make a change in your life be 100% committed to wanting that change.
