📣 So… I’ve been doing a thing.
About 9 months ago, I was the most unhealthy I can ever remember being: tired, unmotivated, sluggish, filled with aches, heartburn… all the things you can’t afford to be with a family and two kids running around. Eventually, my body sent me a clear signal, saying: “Make a change. Now!”
Thankfully, my amazing wife @msmonagrace had already been on her own fitness journey for nearly two years with @darlajoyfitness. Darla recommended @hejnasty and @healthyflexprescription, and she was spot on. After learning about the HFP program, I knew it was something I could really commit to and see through.
Fast-forward through lifestyle changes, hard work, sacrifice, early mornings, a new approach to food… and I ended up here.
So far I’ve lost 43 lbs, dropped over 6 inches off my waist, gotten stronger, and built muscle, all while keeping balance in my life.
🧺 I did have to donate most of my clothes. Lost a lot of good Star Wars and Chicago Bears items.
There was no shortcut. It didn't happen overnight. When asked what I did the simple answer is:
👉 I showed up.
Every day.
For myself, my wife, my kids, my friends.
I just kept making small changes and turning them into big habits.
I’m not sharing this to brag — I’m sharing it in case someone out there needs a little motivation to take that first step. Whatever your path looks like, just start. Keep showing up. If you’re looking for accountability and real education, I can’t recommend Kevin and HFP enough.
